Coming home from Eagan I got off the highway to try to catch a picture of an incoming airplane by the airport. Didnt happen, just to far to look good with short lens. Decided to go through fort snelling and saw these guys up and personal. There were a few times I thought they might walk right up to me, (kinda freaked me out, they were maybe 7-8 feet at the most), so check em out bottom of Post Road, Blmgt.

Spring is coming!

wont be long, I had my last appt. 2 blocks from the Coon Rapids Damn. Stopped there to snap a pic, and it really felt like winter has almost had it. It was a smoking 37 degrees and felt GREAT.

Let in Snow

Driving down 94 on the way back from the office on a route I travel often, I realized I have never stopped at the Spoonbridge and Cherry before. The 5,800 pound spoon and 1,200 pound cherry made by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen, is part of why I wanted to get out and take more pics. It was so cool down there today with all of the recent snow, and I never have thought to stop and check it out...(Taking a closer look around) I definitely want to stop back for the conservatory garden, most of it was closed today for maintenence.

Beautifully Broken

The last week has gone by so fast, and this blog honestly has been the last thing on my mind. Strange how the loss of one thing can strengthen so many others. It has been so suprising to see friendships that have drifted, come back together stronger than ever.
